Here’s how it works:
Monthly themes
Nine engagting themes rotate through the year — from aviation to exploration. When they earn 200 pts for the month, they earn their pin
Choose achievements
Each of the first 3 weeks offers 10 achievement options across science, writing, art, history, math, music and more. Students choose what fits their learning style and complete 50 pts each week to earn their pin.
Research, record, share
Using the SSOAR method, students learn to ask smart questions, find trustworthy sources, and present what they discover. The 4th week of each month is dedicated to presentations & field trips for another 50 pts.
Earn pins & recognition
Monthly achievement pins, a school medallion, and real recognition for real work. Learning becomes fun when they feel a sense of accomplishment and pride and are rewarded for what they learn.

About the founder
Hi, I'm Carrie
I helped to create Flying ACE Academy alongside three other amazing, beautiful, intelligent mothers who love their children fiercely. We all longed to help our children learn a love for learning. What we came up together and with the help of divine guidance, ended up being the best education our children experienced! They didn’t want it to end and neither did we.
I decided to make it available for every family with an independent learner (~age 10-14) because I believe every child has the capacity to love what they learn — they just need the right environment to find it.
After years of working with homeschool families, I watched bright, curious children disengage from learning when it started feeling like a chore, or lower their expectations because they learned to do only what they “had to.” I also watched overwhelmed parents second-guess themselves constantly and knew we had come up with a learning adventure that would grow confidence in both children and parents.
Flying ACE isn't just curriculum. It's a framework that puts adventure, choice and curiosity back in the driver's seat for your child— and gives you, the parent, the tools to mentor with confidence and help to make your relationship with your child truly a blessing.
